Read MoreIn this place, for the fifth time, the Mother of God appeared to the visionary Juan Bernardino, uncle of San Juan Diego. She granted him health and revealed to him the name by which she wanted to be called: “Saint Mary of Guadalupe.” This Sanctuary has been erected to express to the Blessed Virgin our gratitude for her Fifth Apparition. Built on the hut where Juan Diego lived with his uncle in December 1531, the time of the apparitions. Where Saint Mary of Guadalupe continues to pour out abundant graces through the hands of her heavenly nurse, in her invocation “Health of the Sick.”
