The Sanctuary harmoniously combines a variety of architectural elements. This construction is inspired by Arabic style, from the root of the name “Guadalupe”, which comes from this language, meaning “River of Light”. The floor plan is a Greek cross, the Latin altar and the “Fountain of Health” and baptismal font are of Nahuatl inspiration. The altarpiece features the majestic oil painting by D. Luis Toral, entitled: “Health of the Sick”, which portrays the miraculous healing granted by Our Lady to Juan Bernardino and the revelation of her name; “Saint Mary of Guadalupe”. On the walls of the naves there is a rich iconography that invites you to contemplate the Guadalupe Event. On the left side of the presbytery there is access to a passage that leads to the feet of the Virgin, the place where Juan Bernardino's hut is represented; a space for contemplation, conducive to prayer and gratitude. Continuing along the corridor, you come out on the right side, where you will find the Fountain of Health, living water that springs from the place, a sign of the Health that Our Mother offers us. Fountain of Health.
